David Deicke talks about running a professional business, not just a project
You may not know the answer to that question right away. What does a “pro” even look like in business? Is it about money? Power? Luxury?
I don’t think its any of those things, there is more to it than just one thing.
When we see professional celebrities or athletes we can tell the difference between a pro and an amateur pretty easily. The pros are constantly perform at a higher level. They work hard every day to up-level their game; they push through barriers to make changes to their performance that will have a big impact on their outcomes.
And I’d guess you can spot a business pro when you see one as well — but how do you get there?
Success is not the definitive of a pro, because it may take a while to succeed, but you are still a pro.
Being a pro isn’t about the numbers either, money, clients, those are just the rewards.
Being a Pro:
is not about working harder — it’s about working smarter.
is not about doing more — it’s about doing the right things.
is not about passion — it’s about clarity.
People often invest in training and education to take them further in their career especially to take them from amateur to pro, and from pro to superstar.
I hope your journey to success is due to your work as a pro – not just power.
